Ayrshire Cancer Support have been providing practical and emotional support for people affected by cancer in Ayrshire for over 40 years. As Ayrshire’s leading cancer support charity, they offer a diverse range of free support services including: patient transport, professional counselling, complimentary therapies, bespoke support options for children and young people and drop in facilities.

I’ll be covering the distance between Prestwick and the Beatson - and back again - in the month of September (that’s 72 miles door to door). Hoping to walk and jog in September to clock up the miles.

It costs the volunteer drivers around £55 per journey so I’m hoping to make £110 or more if possible for this amazing charity.

Cancer patients often need this service multiple times a week for months or even years!

Without our volunteer drivers, many patients would be unable to access the life-saving treatment they need.
