Rather hastily, along with a work colleague, I have sign up for the Harray Half Marathon and the Dounby 10k on the 14th and 21st September respectively. With little prep time, I thought raising money towards a charity may help be a motivator to completing the challenge!

I have chosen the Archie foundation as both of my nieces, one very recently, spent the first few months of their lives being cared for in the Aberdeen Neonatal unit. The Archie foundation helps provide support for families in a number of ways including providing accommodation for families to stay in and funding specialist equipment.

Any money raised will help to continue to support these valuable services to be provided by the foundation.
