Story
On 26th April 2026 I will be running the London marathon raising funds for Paul Sartori Foundation. I feel incredibly lucky to have got a ballot ticket for London on my third attempt at trying. Getting a ticket feels a little bit like winning the lottery. 🎫
I have worked for Paul Sartori Foundation for 9 years, as the Clinical manager, leading a team of kind, caring and empathetic professionals who provide excellent palliative care.😊
London will be my first marathon having started as a rookie runner at Milford Waterfront Parkrun a few years ago. Running has been my escape and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do this.🏃♀️🐥
Please make a donation if you can or give me a toot if you pass me out there on the road! 🚙
Thank you everyone. ❤️
PSF was initiated in May 1981 by a group of Father Paul Sartori’s parishioners, a much loved local priest, who died at the age of 38 in 1980. The Foundation was set up as Father Sartori had recognised a need for hospice care in Pembrokeshire, but unfortunately he became ill himself and died from cancer before the Foundation was formed. Despite these origins, PSF has no religious affiliations and services have always been available to all, its mission is "to provide sustainable services which promote good end of life care in Pembrokeshire"
