Story
The Primrose Centre in Orpington, Kent, offers free additional support to breast cancer patients. Volunteers run the centre, and we must raise money to continue supporting the excellent work there.
Our Story.
We are facing our fears! We have both decided to take part in a skydive to raise money for The Primrose Centre on the 21st of July. The Primrose Centre is an amazing local charity that helps those who are suffering or have suffered from breast cancer diagnosis. They provide invaluable additional support completely free of charge, helping patients and their families navigate the challenges that come with this diagnosis. What's truly remarkable is that the centre is powered by volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to making a real difference in the lives of others.
As a family who have seen the impact of breast cancer first-hand, we are committed to doing whatever it takes to support the amazing work of the primary centre.
And what better way to do that than by throwing ourselves out of a plane at 12,000 feet?!
This charity means an awful lot to our family as we would not have been able to get through our mum`s breast cancer diagnosis without them. As a family, we wanted to give back to the charity for the amazing support they gave our mum, and during this time, we met the lovely Mary. Mary was the CEO of the foundation and went out of her way for everyone. She had a heart of gold and built the charity from the ground up. The Galliers all considered Mary as family, and she is someone we will remember forever. Unfortunately, we lost Mary in 2023, and even in her last days, her priority was always The Primrose Centre. Since her passing, our incredible Mum has taken over the charity, continuing the work Mary started, persisting to support the people in our community who need us most.
We would appreciate your support; every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference to those battling breast cancer. Your contribution will help ensure that The Primrose Centre can continue to provide its vital services to those who need it.
Mum and Mary, we hope we are making you proud. This is for you.
Thank you!
