Laura's fundraiser for Leeds Hospitals Charity

I'm fundraising for Leeds Children's Transplant team because they make a huge impact in the wellbeing of children who have had a transplant.
This year I have two children who will compete at the transplant games. Harry received his new liver at the age of 14 months and his big brother max got his in May. It has been a long long journey and events like this has helped them keep positive in some very difficult times.
Transplant isn’t a cure and for the rest of their lives they face many health challenges, having strong links to other children like them has really supported them. Keeping fit and being enthusiastic for sports is imperative for their health and but the environment created at the transplant games makes them feel less alone, less isolated and “other”.
Thank you everyone who supports this amazing cause!
