Seeing what a positive impact our projects at People FIrst Dorset (PFD) have on our members lives, only serves to strengthen my passion, commitment and determination........... to ensure PFD can continue to empower our members, to achieve an equal and fulfilling life in their local community (which in turn embraces and welcomes them), with projects which:-

- combat loneliness and social isolation,

- improve health inequalities,

- help members understand their rights,

- develop confidence and skills to speak up;

- create opportunities for members to take action;

- tackle stigma and discrimination,

- develops understanding and ability on subjects that members otherwise find difficult i.e. climate change and environment; money skills; womens or mens issues; relationships; housing; employment etc.
