In memory of a most special person for Myton Hospices

The Myton Hospices - Cov Festival of Running 10k · 27 April 2025 ·
Simon and myself signed up for this in January following the news that my stepdad and most wonderful man Mick had lung cancer. As a proud Coventry kid he recently asked why we’d never done Coventry runs. So this was the one: local run and local charity. I was so looking forward to making him proud to watch me run around his home city and my adopted one.
Devastatingly, he’s not here to watch us now. He can’t access the vital support that Myton Hospices provide and that carries so much value to families. I know Mick would want us to raise as much as possible to help a most important charity that would have provided our family with key support when we needed it.
Myton Hospices provide much needed dedicated care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their families, in their inpatient beds and in the community and this continues to be their primary focus, and they need to raise £11 million this year to do this.
They can't do it without the support of people like me and you!
