I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January 2024. I've been lucky as it was discovered early and I was fast tracked for treatment by the NHS.

Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support (ALCS) has been brilliant and helped me in so many ways since then. The staff and volunteers have supported me with counselling, treatments, exercise classes and mutual therapy sessions, including a cold water swim course at Lyme Regis!

I’m holding a tea party in July for family, friends and neighbours to raise funds to continue ALCS’ vital work in supporting those with cancer in the Axminster/Lyme Regis area which includes Seaton, East Devon, where I live.
