Sponsored Peace Walk.  The Peace Walk starts 12 noon

From Tyne Cot Cemetery To Flanders Museum, Ypres, Belgium.   

All monies raised will go towards young people less fortunate to participate in the week-long 2025 Global Peace Games, Mesen, Belgium, site of the First World War 1914 Christmas truces. There are currently over 120 armed conflicts in the world today, involving both state and non-state armed groups. The need to protect childhood continues to be vital if we are to create peace ambassadors for the future. The CFA's Peace Field Programme has achieved twinning 78 Peace Pitches with Flanders Peace Pitch, Mesen, Belgium, site of the 1914 First World War Christmas truces. Over 66,000 children annually celebrate peace through play on International Peace Field Projects' peace pitches on 6 continents. The CFA's 2025 Sponsored Peace Walk will raise money to bring children from diverse backgrounds to experience the GLOBAL PEACE GAMES.
