Story
I am raising funds for the 'Mental Health Foundation', the UK’s charity for everyone’s mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the foundation aims to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
I am participating in a skydiving event during Mental Health Awareness Week on May 17, 2025, to support this important cause. I am grateful for any contributions towards my target amount of £600. Your support will make a meaningful difference in promoting mental well-being and resilience within our communities.
Join me in making a positive impact on mental health by donating to this cause. Together, we can create a brighter future for all.
Amongst many others, I have suffered from bad mental health, particularly over the last few years. For the sake of my kids’ privacy I will not go into a lot of detail, but I will say I reached the darkest place possible resulting in lengthy hospital stays and extended periods on sick leave. Thanks to the support I have received (and continue to receive) from my wonderful family, beloved kids & therapy dog, friends, colleagues whom have become amazing friends, my incredible employer T L Dallas and of course my weekly therapist and daily unofficial therapist (you know who you are!) I am terrified but privileged to now be in a position take part in the 15,000 feet skydive.
All donations received will go directly to the Mental Health Foundation as I will be absorbing the skydive cost myself.
Thank you if you have managed to read this far and I look forward to sharing my updates with you all!
