Thank you for considering supporting me as I raise money for NAMI-NYC.

Why am I raising money for NAMI-NYC?

On 26 September 2026, my McKinsey colleagues and I will begin trekking 100km of the Peaks of the Balkans route crossing the borders Kosovo, Albania and Montenegro to raise funds and awareness for mental health. The travel, trip, and carbon offset costs are self-funded, and each of my colleagues is fundraising at least $1000 for mental health-related charities, resulting in a collective $100K (minimum) raised!

If you're on this page, you likely know that mental health is one of the causes about which I am most passionate, having treated those suffering from mental health disorders and having myself been managing a diagnosis of complex post-traumatic stress disorder for >5 years related to my nursing work during the first few waves of COVID in New York. Beyond my own experiences, however, we collectively are in the midst of what NGOs have called a "global mental health crisis." Mental health disorders affect everyone, via a personal experience (clinically diagnosed or not), someone you know, or otherwise - yet treatment is often a stigmatized conversation

Such stigma creates barriers to care, prolongs pain and may have dire consequences. NAMI-NYC provides critical support to those who need it most in mental health crisis. This means supporting NAMI is supporting lifesaving, accessible services and is the reason it is so near and dear to my heart
