George and I have been gived the opportunity to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon for My Shining Star. This charity is so close to our hearts. The supported my sister and her other children when our Delilah was under going treatment for Cancer. They also continued to support through the bereavment after we lost the beautiful little girl. This is not only for us and our family, but for all families in need. They provide advice and practical support for families affected by cancer, such as:

Financial Hardship

A helping hand with food, hospital travel, parking costs, debts and loss of income due to cancer.

Sibling Support

Therapy, encouragement and treats for siblings who suffering from trauma due to the impact of splitting the family unit.

Bereaved Families

Promoting healing in the form of therapy, debt support, sign posting of other helpful organisations, days out to help rebuild and encourage the family.

This will also be George's first ever half marathon race. Please help if you can. We are trying to raise £500 each, anything will help, and thank you as always.
