Story
Hello, I am running the TCS London Marathon 2026 for the Sepsis charity, a cause that is profoundly important to me. On the 23rd April 2024, I lost my husband Gareth Robinson, and father to Myles our wonderful little boy, to Sepsis. This devastating loss has inspired me to take on this marathon as a way to honour his memory and demonstrate to my son that we possess the strength to persevere.
This race will also mark the second anniversary of his passing, I am determined to make him proud by achieving one of my lifelong goals: completing this race. It is crucial that we raise awareness and funds for a disease that often goes unnoticed yet tragically claims so many lives each year. I firmly believe that we can do more to prevent others from experiencing such heartache.
With your generous donations, we can work together towards this vital mission. If you could kindly contribute and share this link with your friends, family, and colleagues, it would mean the world to us. You may even know someone whose workplace has a budget for charitable donations—every little bit helps!
My target is £2,700, and reaching this goal will provide me with the motivation I need as I run these miles in memory of my husband Gareth. Thank you so much in advance for your support; it truly makes a difference.
