This September, I’m proud to be running the Great North Run for Durham Cricket Foundation.

Every year, the Foundation supports more than 30,000 people across the North East through cricket, creating opportunities for young people, improving wellbeing and making a positive difference in communities.

I've chosen to take on this challenge to support the Foundation's work at the Great North Children's Hospital.

For six years, Foundation coaches have delivered cricket-themed activities for children receiving treatment. Funds raised will help create even more special experiences, from Christmas gifts during the annual player visit to unique activities and memorable moments for children and families facing difficult times.
