Glasgow Kiltwalk 2026 · 25 April 2026 to 26 April 2026 ·

Crossroads aims to enhance the quality of life for unpaid carers and their families, empower carers to maximise their rights and entitlements, raise public awareness of carers and their needs, raise awareness of the value of carers and their contribution to society, become a recognised centre of excellence. Crossroads Young Carers Cowal & Bute provides a range of supports and respite for children and young people aged 5 to 24 years who have a caring responsibility for another person.

Story

Somehow my extended family have managed to talk ourselves into doing the Kiltwalk next month (the 14.5 mile version, thankfully 😅). We’re fundraising for Crossroads, a charity for carers that has been - and continues to be - a source of great support and comfort to us in difficult times. I haven’t managed to do ANY training yet (Apple informs me my daily steps average this month is c.6,500) so any external financial motivation will be very gratefully received! 💖

(Obviously that photo isn’t at Loch Lomond but it’s the most outdoorsy one of me I could find.)
