I am inspired by this cause because I am a fierce advocate for individuals with physical and neurological disabilities. I have children if my own with neurological disabilities and I was a Special Education Teacher for many years. I taught Life Skills and saw the amazing strengths of my students and saw the joy and value they bring to the world around them. Every individual should have the ability to showcase their strengths and talents.

I have until two weeks before the event start to reach my goal. Once I do, I'll be eligible to run!
