In honour of my Grandma, Hazel, who was a keen knitter, I am taking part in Shooting Star Children's Hospices Knit Before Christmas! I am very much a beginner, but hope to brush up on my skills and learn something new, all whilst donating to a great cause.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices support families who have a baby, child or young person with a life limiting condition, as well as supporting bereaved families across Surrey, north and south-west London. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. Shooting Star Children's Hospices costs £12 million to run a year, so we rely on the generosity of our supporters to keep our vital care service running
