Story
In 2019 my friend Hayley's world changed when her daughter, Daisy-May was rushed to Evelina, London and diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease due to Kidney Dysplasia at and had less than 5% function of her kidneys at the age of 4. After 14 months of dialysis and endless hurdles in December 2020 Daisy-May received her Kidney Transplant that Hayley was able to donate to her.
Every day has its challenges for Daisy-May and her family and sadly her transplant isn't a 'cure', but with the support, care, dedication and knowledge of the Evelina Team their journey has been somewhat comforting.
I have chosen to hike the Jurassic Coast Ultra Marathon Challenge in May 2026 with Hayley to support the incredible Evelina Hospital. Daisy-May continues to battle with her condition, and I wish for nothing more than to contribute to children in Daisy-May's position and support them on their journey.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your generous donations, as the incredible support Evelina provides Daisy-May and her family is invaluable.
