This October 2026, I’ll be taking on the Overgate Inca Trek as a personal challenge in support of a cause that means a great deal to me.

Through my work at Caravan Guard, (www.caravanguard.co.uk) my role is to support and encourage people who take on fundraising challenges for charities. I see first-hand the dedication, courage and commitment it takes — and it felt like the right time to put my money where my mouth is and take on a challenge of my own.

We were honoured to be involved at the very beginning of the Big Build Appeal, and now that we’re getting ever closer to the new hospice opening, I’m honoured to be there again — being part of a group helping to raise the vital funds needed to support patients and families when they need it most.

The Overgate Inca Trek will push me physically and mentally (especially sleeping in a tent!) but it’s nothing compared to the challenges faced every day by those the hospice supports. I’m incredibly grateful for any support you can give — every donation will make a real difference.
