Story
Swim the rivers. Change a life.
For my 50th birthday year, I am taking on two huge swims. The first one is of the UK’s most iconic open water swims, a tidal journey through the stunning Aune Estuary in South Devon.
It’s a proper challenge. Fast-flowing water, beautiful scenery, and hundreds of swimmers all chasing that final moment: I did it.
The second is the Hurly Burly. It is a 10k swim from the beach at Barmouth, up the estuary (hopefully with the tide) under the bridge and to the nature reserve. It's a massive challenge!
I’m doing them both to raise money for Level Water – a brilliant charity providing 1-to-1 swimming lessons for children with disabilities. These lessons are joyful, empowering, and completely life-changing.
Every £15 raised gives a child the chance to learn to swim.
If you can, please sponsor me – it really will make a difference.
