SRUC Barony Campus – National Three Peaks Challenge
In May 2026, around 22 members of staff (including me) from across SRUC Barony Campus will be taking on one of the UK’s toughest endurance challenges — the National Three Peaks.
On 22nd May 2026, our team will attempt to climb Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon — the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales — all within 24 hours. This challenge involves long overnight travel, minimal rest, and physically demanding climbs, pushing both physical and mental limits.
We are taking on this challenge to help support our colleague Lucy Thornton in reaching her fundraising target when she will trek 100km in the mountains of Montenegro, spreading awareness of Coppafeel! breast cancer awareness charity.
Every donation will help make a real difference. Your support will not only help Lucy reach her goal but will also keep our team motivated as we face steep ascents, tired legs, and unpredictable mountain weather.
Thank you for supporting our SRUC Barony team and for cheering us on every step of the way.
