In September, I’ll be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon to raise money for Brain Tumour Research in memory of my mum.

She passed away in November 2025 after fighting a brain tumour for two years. During that time, I saw first-hand how cruel this disease is and how much it takes from someone. Over time she became bed bound and gradually lost so much of her independence, but through all of it she still managed to laugh, smile, and stay strong right until the end.

Running this half marathon is my way of doing something positive in her memory and helping support research that is desperately needed for brain tumours. If you’re able to donate, thank you - any contribution means a lot:)
