Story

Hello everyone,

Lauren Lauren, Sarah will be taking on the London marathon in April 2025 yes all 26 miles ha). We are raising money for a charity which is very to close to our heart, Cyctic Fibrosis Trust. Lauren’s Son Franco has cystic fibrosis, who is only 3 years old, was diagnosed on in December 2020. His diagnosis came as a complete shock. As a family, we are so grateful for the support and care Franco has had through the Cystic Fibrosis trust. There is currently no cure for CF but because of them we live in hope that one day there will be 🤍

I would be so grateful of any donations towards the CF Trust through my race, no matter how big or small! Thank you in advance 🤍

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a genetic condition which causes sticky mucus to build up in the lungs and digestive system. It affects more than 10,800 people in the UK. One in 25 of us carries the faulty gene that causes it, usually without knowing.

Cystic fibrosis comes with challenges, affecting our physical health, mental wellbeing and how we choose to live our lives. But our community is uniting towards the ultimate goal of effective treatment for all.

Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the charity uniting people to stop cystic fibrosis.
