Another year, another fundraiser....

I am a proud NHS worker who believes in 'doing my best'

I'm also slightly unhinged and have decided to take on some challenges in recent years. This year is no different. I have signed up for the Montane Lakeland 100 Ultramarathon. On Friday 26th July at 6pm I will leave Coniston and aim to complete a large 105 mile circular route over hills and through bogs, with 2 full nights on my feet.

Challenges I said....I've also taken on a leadership role in a local cub pack, and aim to inspire 24 young people to also 'do their best' and complete fundraising challenges to help me.

MSF is my charity of choice because I am so thankful every day for the access my family has to healthcare and dentistry. MSF represent everything that is good and decent about humanity and support some of the most vulnerable people across our planet.

As for Daniel....he's got so bored of hearing me whinge about how hard it is to run 50 miles that he's finally bagged a place and is giving the Lakeland 50 a go. I've roped him in to help me with sponsorship too!

Between us we're supporting Andy Dennis, a local fundraising legend to raise £200,000 for MSF. United we stand!
