A little more on the charity we are raising funds for...

The Toy House is a community based charity in Flixton mainly focussed on helping families with children who have additional needs. However anyone is free to go. It’s workers and volunteers offer a listening ear, which helps reduce that isolating feeling. It really is an incredible place.

The Toy House aims:

Inspiring play.

Provide high quality resources to support learning and development.

Provide an opportunity for our visitors to relax in our sensory room.

Supporting families.

Provide an all-inclusive, non-judgmental, welcoming environment which meets the needs of our visitors.

Reduce the feelings of isolation in families.

Offer a listening ear.

Creating opportunities.

Offer volunteering opportunities.

Offer volunteering opportunities to disabled adults

Offer work experience opportunities to students who may need a little extra support
