Story
I work at Wickes and we have partnered with the incredible suicide prevention charity Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
Since partnering with the charity I’ve been thinking of what I can do personally to raise some money. I thought outside of the box and after 5 months of debating I’ve chosen to just do it and face my fear of….butterflies!
It’s a fear I regularly get laughed at about so for context, I appreciate the beauty of a butterfly but I am petrified if they come near me. So, on June 21st at Whipsnade Zoo I will face my fear and visit their butterfly house, something I would usually avoid.
If double of my target is reached I will actively stay in the butterfly house until one lands on me.
If I can raise triple my target I will do both of the above and get a small butterfly tattoo.
All of this will be filmed by my children as evidence!
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
