As some of you know our son Danny has severe non verbal Autism, with SPD along with an array of other equally challenging syndromes.

Our journey into parenting wasn’t at all what we expected, and we found ourselves during lockdown in a very isolating and lonely world, trying to navigate SEN parenting with little to no outside help.

Our Son Danny is amazing, overcoming so many life changing obstacles to become the cheeky, smiley, but very challenging young boy he is today.

We fought tirelessly to get him into the amazing RIVERSIDE Specialist School and we are so grateful to them for everything they do for Danny and also for us.

Riverside is such an amazing school, and the teachers and staff are the salt of the earth. Such amazingly kind and caring people. Giving their absolute everything to the students and treating them like their own.

To say a big thank you, Dans decided to swim 5k and I have decided to Walk the 5k ( I am unable to run the 5k due to my ankle being fused) to raise some well deserved funds for their absolute life line of a school.

* By raising this money, they’ll be able to supply the children’s with resources they’d otherwise not be able to afford, allowing the children to go on more trips, play with more toys, and offer them more opportunities to learn and explor - they might even offset some of the ever growing utility costs. Every penny really will make sure an amazing difference x
