On 3rd October 2026, my colleagues and I are stepping over the edge and abseiling down the side of the Europa Hotel, Belfast all to raise vital funds for the Northern Ireland Music Therapy Trust (NIMTT).

As employees of NIMTT, we see firsthand the incredible power of music therapy every single day. We work across Northern Ireland to provide tailored music therapy sessions for children and adults facing huge challenges—including severe learning difficulties, autism, mental health struggles, brain injuries, and dementia.

Because we see the life-changing impact of this work daily, we know how many more people still need our help. Every penny raised from this abseil goes directly toward providing more therapy sessions, buying specialised instruments, and reaching vulnerable people in our communities who are currently waiting for support.
