On 26th April 2026, I will be running the London Marathon raising vital funds for Open Age.

Working with this special charity over the past 4 years, I’ve seen first-hand how our work transforms the lives of older Londoners.

Our unique weekly programme of 220 classes, empowers older people in London to stay active, curious and connected. From exercise classes to theatre trips, from walks to talks to cookery courses – we offer something for everyone, whoever they are, whatever they feel like trying, however they want to get involved.

These services are critical for residents’ wellbeing, physical health, and independence, and it’s a pleasure to see how much our members value them. Hearing members chat excitedly about which classes they’ve been to, the support they've received and seeing the genuine friendships that have formed is beyond rewarding. For many, our community is a lifeline.

I am fundraising to support the growth of our work so more older adults can experience the magic of Open Age.
