Aiming Higher support the families of children and young people with additional needs. Without doubt these children can bring immense pleasure. However due to the complexity of some of our children’s conditions, families find it difficult to access activities. Families experience many barriers and can become isolated and suffer further hardship.

We support these families hosting family events at suitable locations, subsidising the cost of activities and providing stay and play groups and counselling sessions at our Blackpool base.

We are 3 nurses from the Emergency Department in Blackpool who are running the Manchester half for the Aiming higher charity which is close to our hearts.
