Home-start HOST is a charity close to my heart as I see first hand the difference our staff and volunteers make to families and their little ones. Home-Start HOST also supported me many years ago when I was having a difficult time following the birth of my youngest child.

Home-Start HOST support families with young children across Oldham, Tameside, Stockport, Bolton & Bury. Our trained volunteers and staff offer home visiting peer support, peer support groups, early learning support for little ones, Infant Feeding support, support for Dads in the perinatal period, and support with many practical aspects of raising young children as well through our baby bank.

Being a parent can be hard, and additional challenges like mental health, isolation, physical health issues or financial difficulty can make it even more challenging. A little support at the right time makes a huge difference to parents and crucially helps them give their children the start in life they deserve.
