Join Us for the Channel Swim Team Challenge – There and Back!
Our sessions are run in partnership with Zink, who, alongside our Glossop Swim & Social sessions at Glossop Swimming Baths every Saturday between 12 -1pm, also host the popular Zink & Swim! session every Friday at 12 noon at Buxton Pool. Both programmes are part-funded by Sport England, whose support helps subsidise pool entry fees and provides professional swim coaching at both Glossop and Buxton.
This year we're aiming even higher with The Channel Swim Team Challenge – There and Back!

Whether you can swim 10 lengths or 200, we'd love you to be part of the team. Every length you swim brings us closer to our goal.
We're also delighted that Olympic gold medallist David Manning, who represented Team GB at the Belgium Special Olympics in 1981, will be swimming with us. We're also hoping to announce another special guest very soon!
Everyone who takes part will receive:
A commemorative event T-shirt
A free lunch afterwards at Zink HQ

Taking part is completely free.
While sponsorship is entirely optional, every donation makes a real difference. The funds raised will help The Bureau continue providing inclusive swimming opportunities that improve physical health, build confidence, reduce isolation and bring people together.
