Let’s raise enough for a slab roller for our hand-build ceramics class with John…

John and co have made a valiant effort so far to get the total to about £400 but the roller will be around £600, plus a bit more for delivery and installation.

I think we can all agree it would be a fabulous addition to the equipment for our ceramics classes and will save our arms from aching at the very least!

Importantly though, it will allow us to quickly create perfectly flat, uniformly thick, and consistent, clay slabs for hand-building - saving significant time and physical effort compared to hand-rolling.
