Hello everyone 👋

I lost one of my best friends end of May/beginning of June this year. His name was Kieran Overton 💔😢

Kieran and I have been very close for 15 years, meeting each other in the final year of high school at the time we're due to sit our GCSE exams. He called me Grandma in school and to this day, or at least up until his death, he never called me by actual name.

I don't know exactly how he died and to be honest I do not want to know because that's not the way I want to remember him.

When I miscarried identical twin girls in August 2021, Kieran got a tattoo of the babyloss symbol on the left side of his chest in memory of my girls; Grace 🩷 and Yvette 🩵

My own mental health has suffered (yet again) this year and at the time I heard the news of Kieran's death, I was also leaving my job so it was a very difficult time for me.

Kieran, I hope you knew how much you meant to me and how much I valued you as a person aswell as one of my best friends.

I love and miss you so so much xx

I am participating in the 60 miles in September, fundraising for Mind 💙

I am also participating in the 10K Race in the Bedford Running Festival on Saturday 7th September, in memory of Kieran 🫶🏾
