Story
In September, we're taking on the 10k Wolf Run! A run with a lot of mud and obstacles..
Whilst we're running, Lauren's dad who was diagnosed with blood cancer earlier in the year will be in hospital going through his chemotherapy and stem cell transplant procedure.
For those with blood cancer and blood disorders, a stem sell transplant is a second chance at life.
Over 2,000 people each year in the UK are in need of a blood stem cell transplant, however, just 3% of the UK’s population are registered as potential donors.
DKMS are the biggest stem cell register in the UK. The more people who register as blood stem cell donors, the better the chance for someone in need of a blood stem cell transplant.
So support us in our Wolf Run whilst donating to support those living with blood cancer.
Runners: Lauren, Sophie, Rach, Chloe, Jac, Callie, Laura, Soph, Grace, Sarah, Cesc, Grace and Issy.
