Story
Our family is doing the Twilight Walk to raise money for Marie Curie in memory of my grandfather, Noel Degan. Marie Curie nurses looked after granda (and us!) over the last year of his life. They provided unbelievable care to granda, looking after him physically but also mentally (making sure the jokes were ready). The night sits Marie Curie provided gave our family time to sleep- something that was invaluable at that time. We'd like to give back and help gather vital funds that Marie Curie heavily rely on to provide these essential services at end of life. If you can spare anything, please donate and help Marie Curie to look after others in their final days.
Marie Curie is here for anyone with an illness they’re likely to die from, and those close to them. Whatever the illness, wherever you are, we’re with you to the end. We bring 75 years of experience and leading research to the care we give you at home, in our hospices and over the phone. And we push for a better end of life for all by campaigning and sharing research to change the system.
Marie Curie is a charity working across the UK and we need your support to do our vital work.
