Lauren Angell is raising money for Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal

AJ Bell Junior and Mini Great Bristol Run 2026 · 9 May 2026

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Ready to make a difference, one step at a time? Little ones aged between three and eight can tackle a 1.5km dash, while children ages nine to fifteen are invited to take part in the 2.5km junior run.

Story

As many of you know, we’ve unfortunately spent a lot of time at the Children’s Hospital over the past few years. Lennon and Maddox still attend regular appointments with their consultants and will continue under their care until they turn 18.

We feel incredibly lucky to have such an amazing Children’s Hospital on our doorstep—especially as we’ve been transferred back there more than once while away on holiday! The care, support, and dedication they show to children and their families means everything to us.

This charity is very close to our hearts, and we’ll continue to support them however we can. Every donation truly makes a difference, and we are so grateful for any contributions or shares.

With lots of love,

Jamie, Lauren, Harper, Lennon & Maddox x

Charity message:

From helping staff, patients or their families, The Grand Appeal puts Bristol Children's Hospital at the heart of everything they do.

They support the hospital through:

Family accommodation: they run three accommodation houses that provide a safe and supportive place for families to stay while their child is in hospital.

Medical research: they invest in medical research programmes to ensure the hospital remains a hub of innovation, where everyday experts pave the way for sick children through a network of projects with international impact.

Equipment: they fund state-of-the-art equipment to save lives.

Music, play and art therapy: their music, play and arts programme can be seen in every ward at Bristol Children's Hospital, helping young children to deal with the stresses and fears they may face during treatment.

Art enhancements: they work to make sure Bristol Children's Hospital provides a fun, stimulating and comforting space for the brave children it cares for.
