I'm taking on a 7-mile swimming challenge to raise money for the Stroke Association in memory of my grandad, who sadly passed away following a stroke.

Losing a family member is never easy, and I wanted to do something meaningful in his memory while supporting a cause that helps so many people and families affected by stroke.

I've always enjoyed having a challenge to work towards, and as someone who is still relatively new to swimming, this feels like the perfect opportunity to push myself while raising money for a cause that is close to home.

The Stroke Association provides vital support to stroke survivors and their families, as well as funding research to improve prevention, treatment and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support their incredible work and make a difference to those affected by stroke.
