In April 2024, I will be running the Brighton marathon to raise money for the One in Four Charity. This is a charity close to my heart. I’m sure many will agree that no person should experience sexual trauma and they certainly shouldn’t be stigmatised or go through the impact of trauma alone. The one in four charity are addressing the ‘elephant in the room’ when it comes to childhood sexual abuse. They address that one in four people will experience sexual abuse before the age of 18.

The one in four charity are breaking the silence around sexual violence, particularly childhood sexual abuse, by providing essential support to adult survivors and training to professionals.
