As some of you may know Mrs Richards (Yolanda) is Lead Trustee & Chair for a non profit organisation ‘Friends of Mutake School’.

She discovered the school in Zimbabwe while hiking in the area in 2008. She soon discovered the limited resources available to the students.

Since then, Yolanda has worked tirelessly to get the charity officially registered, which she achieved in 2020. Yolanda also oversees many of the operations in Zimbabwe, including the delivery of medication and gifts purchased by donors.

She is flying to Zimbabwe this April half term to take supplies and spend time with the students.

Staff would like to help raise some money by doing a team hike on Saturday 3rd May summiting Whernside.
