Story
On the 15th October, we will be dragging our sorry bottoms around the beautiful city of Bath in the hope of raising some funds!
We are fundraising for Missing Link, who house and support survivors of domestic abuse, survivors of sexual violence and women/non binary folk struggling with their mental health.
We both work in specialist women's services and so we know the lifeline this support offers to our community. Everyone deserves to live safe, independent and fulfilled lives free from violence and abuse.
Any donation is so gratefully received, no matter how small, as it all adds up and makes a big difference.
However, for anyone willing and able to donate a bit more, we thought we’d chuck in some spicy extras…
SO Sarah (of Right Good Kitchen) is throwing open her bakery doors for a one off exclusive.
And Lauren will be dusting off her quill to be able to offer the following as a bonus….
- Every donation of £50+ will get an offer of babka/box of brownies/cake or equivalent (pictured) from Right Good Kitchen.
- Every donation of £30, you’ll get a handwritten poem posted to you, on a subject of your choice.
- Anything £60+ will open up a negotiation about a cake for a spesh occasion.
In terms of the race itself, this is the first time either of us have done anything like this, we’re not showing off. So if you see us running round Bristol looking red and overwhelmed, please be nice to us.
Lots of love,
Lauren and Sarah
