UPDATE FROM SUNDAY!
A bit achey today - but it’s done! 🥇
I ran pretty even splits ranging from a 10:49/mile to 11:45/mile my target was supposed to be a consistent 11:00/ mile. Soo I didn’t quite make my sub 5:00hr target… but I did run the whole thing and for me that was thing I couldn’t give up!
I did get to see almost everyone who made it out to the course yesterday. Stopping for sweaty hugs and sweet treats obviously way better than achieving your goal 😘😂 I cannot thank you all enough - what a ride.

After withdrawing my entry to the 2024 and 2025 London Marathon due to injury and then birth of my daughter, 2026 will be the year I finally put all of that hard work and training to fruition!
I have spent the last 16 weeks and longer readying myself for this gargantuan milestone. As with my original ballot spot I will supporting the Lord Mayor's charity appeal which this year is the Hotel School - such a worth while and worthy cause! Please donate as much as you can :)
Hotel School is an award-winning charity that empowers people who have experienced homelessness and other disadvantages to thrive in the hospitality industry. The dynamic 10-week programme combines theory, hands-on experience, and industry visits to provide the skills and confidence to land a job and excel in it.
Hotel School started in 2017 and is a joint venture between The Passage (London’s largest voluntary sector homeless resource centre) and The Goring Hotel. It is supported by London’s leading hospitality industry and over 50 local businesses - a true coming together of the community.
