Manchester Half Marathon 2024 · 13 October 2024 ·

Every day of the year, your local air ambulance (Warwickshire & Northamptonshire) is helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of five rescue missions a day. We receive no government funding for our daily missions. Your support keeps us flying.

Story

I will be running the Manchester Half Marathon and raising money for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, in memory of my friend Alison - who we lost in a tragic car accident on 30th October 2018 and miss deeply every day.

The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. The charity receives no government funding for its daily missions.

Alison will forever be remembered as being the life and soul of the party with the kindest heart and most contagious smile, and I know she is thought of every day by many - I hope that raising money for this amazing charity, that attended to Alison, will make her proud and bring awareness to the lack of funding for a service that is so crucial to saving lives.

Any donations are greatly appreciated. I hope to do Alison proud! x
