As many of you know, I’m undertaking my first HALF MARATHON.

Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist end of life care to patients in Dorset, and support to their loved ones. This is my local hospice and would love to try to raise some money to help support the good work that they do.

Every stride taken and every pound raised during the Weymouth Half Marathon will help Weldmar to provide specialist end of life care for local adults experiencing life limiting illness.

The charity's aim is to make every moment matter for those individuals, and their loved ones.

Their care takes place in communities across Dorset through our Specialist Hospice at Home Service hubs, and at their Inpatient Unit in Dorchester.

Weldmar also provides complementary therapies, counselling, wellbeing activities, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy.
