Story
Hey you, thank you for joining me here!
This year, 2026, I will be running the iconic London Marathon, for my third time, yes I know I may be a bit crazy, but third time lucky right? Or third time grateful that I am able to run this beautiful course and enjoy the amazing atmosphere in which the day brings, something I wish we could bottle up!!!
This year I am running for Lymphoma Action, in memory of my BEAUTIFUL friend, Abigail Satwick. Abigail was the purest soul, she was truly amazing inside and out. I know she would be so so proud of me running this for her <3
In 2020, Abigail was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, she bossed the treatment and took everything in her stride, like the true warrior she was.
With the love and support from her beautiful family, loving husband and wonderful friends, she overcame the cancer, or so we thought.
Abigial began feeling unwell again. February 2024, after many tests, scans and appointments, the devastating new hit that the cancer had returned and was in her pulmonary arteries, she had two rounds of chemo, which didn’t work
On the 13th June 2024, Abigail made her brave journey to theatre. I messaged telling her I loved her so much and that I was so proud of her.
Abigail you were the strongest most beautiful women, you took everything in your stride and you fought like a true warrior. You showed us all the true meaning of courage and bravery.
This one is for you darling
Love you always xxx
