Story
Hi All,
In June this year, my family’s world changed forever. My father received the devastating news that he has brain cancer. How long we have left together, we simply don’t know. What we do know is that without support, navigating this illness is overwhelming, isolating, and unbearably hard.
That’s why I’m running the Brighton Marathon 2026 in support of Brainstrust—a small charity making an extraordinary difference for people living with brain tumours and their families.
Brainstrust are there in the darkest hours and the most fragile moments. They provide:
• 📞 24/7 helplines, because fear and questions don’t keep office hours
• 🌱 Personalised coaching services, guiding families through the unknown, every single day of the year
• 💻 Essential online workshops, helping people feel less alone and more empowered
They are there for the good days, the bad days, the “will I make it?” days, and the “maybe I won’t” days. For the 3am wake-ups, the hardest conversations you never imagined having, and the moments when hope feels out of reach.
Brainstrust is there—quietly, steadfastly—supporting every step of the most heartbreaking and difficult journey.
This marathon is not just about miles on the road. It’s about standing shoulder to shoulder with every adult and child who hears the words “you have a brain tumour.” It’s about making sure no one has to face this alone.
✨ A small charity can make a big difference. Please help me support Brainstrust, so they can continue to be there for families like mine, and for all those who need them most.
Together, we can turn pain into purpose, and heartbreak into hope.
Thank you so much for your support
