On 27th April 2025 I will be running the TCS London Marathon 2025. I was lucky enough to get into the Marathon through the Ballot and I have chosen to raise money for Brain Research UK, I am hoping to raise £500 for this Charity.

Your donation of any amount will go directly to Brain Research UK who are the UKs leading dedicated funder of neurological research. They fund the best science to achieve the greatest impact for people affected by neurological conditions, to help them live better, longer.

They fund projects and fellowships under 3 priority themes; brain tumours, acquired brain and spinal cord injury, and headache and facial pain, they also fund some research into neurodegenerative conditions – including dementia and motor neurone disease.

As a family we have a relative who has been affected by numerous neurological issues from an early age, these ongoing issues are regularly monitored by a fantastic neurological team in Manchester.
