Walk for Wellness 26 · 25 April 2026

The Therapy Garden is a horticulture and education charity that works to have a positive and significant impact on the lives of people facing challenges in life. Whether by giving a sense of purpose to children with special needs; or by reducing the isolation of a young person living with autism or someone older living with dementia. Whether by building confidence in adults recovering from a stroke; or by helping to equip young people who have additional learning needs for a possible future in the workplace. We change lives for the better and we do this by creating a safe place to enjoy the power of gardening and to connect with nature.

Story

On Saturday 25th April, Matthew, Juliette, Amelie, Lola and I will be walking 5 miles for a cause that truly matters.

We are taking part in the Walk for Wellness 26 to support The Therapy Garden, a charity that helps both adults and children living with special needs, mental health challenges, and long-term conditions rebuild their confidence, wellbeing, and sense of purpose through nature-based therapy.

Spending time outdoors can be incredibly powerful — but for many people, access to safe, supportive environments like this simply isn’t available without charities like The Therapy Garden.

💚 Wellbeing isn’t just about physical health — it’s about feeling supported, connected, and able to cope with life’s challenges. 💚

The Therapy Garden provides:

- A safe, inclusive space for people to heal

- Practical support for mental and physical wellbeing

- Opportunities to reconnect with nature and others
