Having never run more than 10km, I decided before my knees get any older and creakier I'd try a half marathon and wanted to raise money for a good cause at the same time.

I'm running with my twin brother (who has run a marathon before so this should be a doddle for him). Our mum is currently undergoing chemotherapy and our dad died of cancer 15 years ago, so this is a cause which is close to our hearts.

I know there are so many good causes out there so if you do sponsor me (I mean 'us', it's not a competition, as long as I win) it really is appreciated.
