Story
Next weekend I’m running the Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Sweaty Betty Foundation, and this one really means a lot to me.
As a Sweaty Betty ambassador and someone who works with women every day, I’ve seen how powerful movement can be. It’s not just about fitness…. it’s about confidence, connection, and feeling at home in your own body.
Everything I work towards day in and day out is about supporting and empowering women, so this is doing my little piece for the young girls out there.
I’ve been lucky enough to work with the Sweaty Betty team for the past three years, and through that, I’ve had the chance to connect with the Sweaty Betty Foundation at different events and meetings too.
Seeing what they do up close, and the way they pour belief and encouragement into everything, has genuinely inspired me. The SB community has supported me in so many ways, and that’s made me even more passionate about passing that same energy forward.
The Foundation helps young girls get into sport and movement, and they also work with schools and local communities to make those spaces more inclusive and empowering for girls to join in and stay active. (Changing room project… let’s go!!!!)
Because we were all that girl once, figuring it out, trying to find our place!!! and there’ll always be new generations who need that same encouragement and support.
So I’m running for them. For every girl who deserves to feel strong, capable, and proud of what her body can do. 💪
Every donation helps open more doors for the next generation of confident, active young women (10-18 years old) and that’s something worth running for. 💖
